December 10 CASE Meeting Recap

On Wednesday, December 10, over 50 ecosystem members and supporters gathered at Temple University's Charles Library to network, share and plan. Action teams reported out on their collective work and spent time meeting to move work forward.

We were honored to welcome our guest speaker, Kerry Smith, Esq., Divisional Supervising Attorney with the Homeownership and Consumer Rights Unit at Community Legal Services, who joined us to share sobering updates on student loans. Kerry gave a brief overview of the student loan debt and system, shared key updates from the OBBBA, provided critical borrower support strategies, and flagged details that will be helpful heading into the upcoming tax season.
